Reverse Engineering Guilt
In my last blog I talked about 5 tips to stop feeling guilty.
That's guilt from the past.
It's happened.
Been.
Gone
Done.
Dealt with.( hopefully)
Today I want to talk about reverse engineering guilt that might cover you like a rather burdensome blanket on your death bead.
Guilt for things not dealt with and guilt for things not done. aka REGRETS
Yes, I know how to host a party!!
Sometimes it takes a wee shock to wake us the heck up, and really, truly live.
Time is our greatest asset.
Time is our currency.
The only thing that is for certain as a human, right now, is that we will all die/pass.
Some people say death and taxes are inevitable, but we can decide not to pay taxes and stay at Her Majesty's pleasure!
Back to our passing.
Coco Chanel said, "Guilt is perhaps the most painful companion of death."
Imagine , if you will, being on your deathbed and being introduced to the person that you could have been.
F**k!
Imagine, if you will, all the things that you could have done?
What would make every Monday morning look like you'd won the lottery?
What would have given you that feeling of fulfillment?
What have blown out the sodding water, that gnawing feeling of, 'IS THIS IT?'
What would you have created?
What legacy would you have left behind?
What would make you smile, nod your hear, and reach out to You and say,
"Yes we did that.
That was fun.
That, was a life well lived.
I have no regrets."
Even thinking those four lines makes me smile, from a deep soul level.
Every cell in my body want to align with them.
There is no right and wrong answer.
You, in all you unique gorgeousness have an inkling of what this would be.
May I encourage you to write a list of things that would start that soul alignment.
The things, that if not done would be deathbed regrets.
I know I've mentioned 'deathbed' rather frequently today, but I really want to wake you up, so you can live the rest of your life being who you want to be.
Not who you're expected to be but who YOU want to be.
I heard a great, and to me, new concept the other day, and I'm sorry I can't for the life of me remember who wrote it.
But say you're in your 50's.
The first 20 years of your life, are likely to have been mostly out of your control.
The next 30 likely to have been spent, doing all the things expected of you.
Now the extremely good and joyous news, is that with advances in medical science, you have at least another 30 years to kick ass and reverse engineer your deathbed regrets.
So what are you waiting for?

P.S If you are struggling with past guilt, or worried about future regrets, and would like some help clearing it out and moving on to your next adventure, let's talk.
There are two ways to work with me.
One is my 30-day Reset.
It's a kick-start. An intensive. Like a juice cleanse! I was going to say colonic, but maybe that's taking my irreverence too far! We specifically look at one area of your life and overhaul it. We clear out what's holding you back and make way for the next chapter of your life.
The 2nd is my 6 month "Flourish" coaching program.
Where we look at all the things you need to Flourish. We take our time. You have me in your corner to nurture, support and champion you. I don't want you to be frustrated, stuck and unfulfilled... I want you to Wake up and Live. Now that might be selfish of me, but...there, it's out there now!
I love being a catalyst for change.
If you are wanting to get in alignment with your higher purpose, joyfully kicking ass as you go and unlocking goodness and potential you didn't even know you had... then I would love to work with you.
Message me and let me know which option you'd like to know more about, and I'll send you the details.
